Fans: Ruud A Big-Money Bargain

Ruud van Nistelrooy has been Sir Alex Ferguson's best big-money signing, according to our latest ManUtd.com poll.
The Dutch striker came out ahead of Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Juan Sebastian Veron with almost half of the votes.
Van Nistelrooy, who has scored 126 goals in just 172 games since his £19million move from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in 2001, registered 44.7% of the votes.
In second place was £27million Wayne Rooney who notched just under 35% after finishing as top scorer in his first season since moving from boyhood club Everton.
£30million England defender Rio Ferdinand came third in the poll with just under 20%, while Argentine misfit Veron could only muster just over 1.25% after two disappointing years at Old Trafford.
